RUBBERcomp® Synthetic Rubber Coating. RUBBERcomp® is a multi-purpose, air drying specialty rubber coating. It can be easily applied by dipping, brushing, or spraying. It protects coated items against moisture, acids, abrasion, corrosion, and skidding/slipping, and provides a comfortable, controlled grip. RUBBERcomp remains flexible and stretchy over time, and will not crack or become brittle in extreme weather conditions. It has been tested and proven in temperatures from -30°C to 90°C.

Thinner Car-Rep RUBBERcomp 450ml
RUBBERcomp® Thinner compound is developed specially for RUBBERcomp® paint gun application. The solvents in the mixture evaporate in different phases resulting excellent painting features, smooth levelling, smooth surface and even gloss. Follow mixing instructions. Suitable also as brush painting thinner. Clean the surface of oils, grease, dirt, wax and loose rust. Dilute 1L paint with 450ml thinner, margin ±5%. Mix well before use. Pneumatic paint guns use compressor pressure 2.5 bar max and nozzle 1.1 - 2.0 mm. Electric paint gun adjustment depending on type. Test always on an external panel first and adjust the spray gun starting from lowest postition and increase until you are able to apply a wet, uniform coat without dripping. Spray at least four layers following separate RUBBERcomp® painting instructions / technical information sheet. Do not use any other thinner than RUBBERcomp® thinner. Before closing the can after use, poor a little thinner on top of the paint to prevent skinning. Do not mix, close the cover. DRYING Drying time (at 20°C, 50% relative air humidity): Dust-dry: after 20 minutes Dry to touch: after 40 minutes Completely dry: after 10 hours Final hardness: around 2 days Recommended applying temperature +18 - +25°C. Applying in cooler temperatures may affect drying times, finish quality, and spray performance.
